White Buddha

The statute of the white Buddha can be found sitting on a lotus blossom at the top the hill behind Long Son Pagoda.  The white Buddha is visible from various spots in the city and is characterized by busts of  7 Buddhist monks including Thich Quang Duc. These monks are revered and immortalized at the base of the statue owing to the monks’ self-immolations that occurred in 1963. To get a clear and up close view of the statue, you have to climb up the 150 steps to get to the white Buddha.

The Po Nagar Cham Towers 
The history of the Po Nagar Cham Towers can be traced back to the 8th and 11th centuries. The towers sit on top of the Mount Cu Lau, which overlooks the Cai River. The towers were originally 10 in total, however, due to the effects of time and aging, only four remain. The towers were created to host various Hindu deities, however, today; the four remaining ones are still used as spiritual centers by the locals.
